- Cassie is given a love interest. I think a new character should be
cast possibly someone we've seen on another soap. Cassie needs
someone charming yet exciting and Jim does not fit the role.
- Rick and Abby's love is tested when one of them is faced with a
health problem.
- A Holly/Sam/India triangle would be new to the viewers and finally
give these three characters a storyline. Can you just imagine a
Holly/India catfight?
- Carmen finally gets her revenge on Michelle meanwhile the rest of
the Santos family discovers who really killed Mick.
- A friendship between Susan and Marah. This would give Marah some
scenes and finally give Susan a storyline besides trying to break
up Jim and Beth.
- A Drew/Jesse/Pilar/Bill quadrangle would put these characters on the
front burner. Seeing Drew and Jesse fight over their religious
differences is boring and throwing Bill and Pilar into the mix could
test both couples love for each other.
- Carmen's husband returns as Ben and Carmen's relationship heats up.
- An earthquake storyline would be wonderful. It could throw enemies
together, bring old lovers together, with the aftermath leaving
lasting affects on the characters (just imagine the possibilities).
- Beth's father returns just as Beth and Jim make a commitment to one
another. Her father's return would give Beth some emotional scenes,
possibly destroy her relationship with Jim (although I love them
together), and give Lillian a chance to gain revenge.
- A front-burner storyline for Frank and Eleni. Possibly a secret
from the past, just give them a storyline.
