  1. Kevin Bacon, once the alcoholic Tim Werner, has appeared in over 40 feature films including A Few Good Men, Wild Things, Sleepers, Apollo 13, The River Wild, Flatliners, Tremors, She's Having a Baby, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Footloose, Diner, and Animal House.

  2. James Earl Jones, Dr. Jim Frazier in 1966, has over 100 film and television credits. He was the voice of Mufasa in The Lion King, played Jim Greer in The Hunt for Red October and Patriot Games, and also played a doctor on As The World Turns. Jones is a true screen legend with a career spanning over 30 years.

  3. Billy Dee Williams also portrayed Dr. Jim Frazier in 1966. Billy has appeared in over 50 films and television shows, with guest starring roles on popular shows such as Dynasty, The Jeffersons, A Different World, In Living Color, and Mission: Impossible. Bill Dee portrayed Lando Calrissian in two Star Wars films.

  4. Taye Diggs appeared on GL briefly as Sugar Hill, Drew's lover. Fame was knocking at his door, and he left the show to begin his film career in How Stella Got Her Groove Back.

  5. Michelle Forbes, who originated the roles of Sonni and Solita, has become prime-time series regulars in Homicide: Life on the Street and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

  6. Ian Ziering appeared on GL from 1986 to 1988 as Cameron Stewart. Ian has appeared in a few feature films, but is best known as Steve Sanders on Beverly Hills, 90210.

  7. Nia Long, the one and only Kat Speakes (1991 to 1994), has gone on to have a very successful film career. Some of her film credits include Boyz in the Hood, Made in America, Love Jones, and Soul Food.

  8. Paige Turco, once Dinah on Guiding Light, moved onto movie roles in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies II and III, then onto regular roles on NYPD Blue and Party of Five. Paige appeared on GL from 1987 to 1989.

  9. Sherry Stringfield played Blake Marler from 1989 to 1992. After leaving GL Sherry moved to ABC's NYPD Blue and NBC's ER. Her latest film appearance was in 54.

  10. Melina Kanakaredes originated the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in 1991 and played the role until 1994. Kanakaredes is currently starring in the NBC series Providence.
