Josh and Reva are at Lewis Oil with Cassie, before Cassie was revealed as Reva's sister. Reva is telling Cassie that she is concerned about her.

Cassie: "You're concerned that I may be hurt?"

Reva: "By other people's rules."

Cassie: "You have no idea."

Reva: "Some people in this world, they march to different drummers and they expect you to goose-step right along with them."

Josh: "Yeah, Reva doesn't like that goose-stepping thing."

Reva: "No, I don't. I try to protect myself, I live by a few very simple rules. Don't come within a mile of Alan and Annie without backup. Don't do anything that doesn't feel right. And never let your guard down when you're playing checkers with Billy. (Cassie laughs) And, don't ever let a good man go, not even for an instant."

Josh: "Yeah, you just try to get rid of me."

Cassie: "How do you do it? You're so strong, you know how no say no to your enemies and nothing ever seems to throw you."

Reva: "I come from good stock. Peasant stock my mama used to call it. Strong. Hearty."

Josh: "Yeah, Reva's mother was one of a kind. She was pretty special, she was wonderful and wise in a whole lot of ways."

Cassie: "Tell me about her."

Reva: "Well...I ... I told you her name was Sarah." "Joshua Lewis, don't you dare kiss my girl without being somewhere where I can keep my eye on you, and don't be.."

Josh: "Sneaking around under the porch." (Jeva laugh)

Cassie: "And you went back to the house after that?"

Josh: "For her, you bet I did."

Reva: "My mama was tough, but she had a whole lot of love to back it up with. And that meant doing things straight out, straight forward."

Cassie: "No kissing underneath the porch?"

Josh: "No way."

Reva: "No. She wanted us to take pride in ourselves, you know, be our best. I can remember one time when I lost a three-legged race, well somebody tripped me that's the only reason why I lost it. (Josh laughs) But she was right there, with a smile and a hug and just filled me to the brim with confidence."

Cassie: "Must be nice to have a mother like that."

Josh: "Yeah, she was my rock too, I gotta say, during the years that I thought I lost Reva she was always there for me. She believed that people who were meant to be together would somehow end up together in the long-run."

Reva: "We sure tested that theory didn't we?"

Josh: "Yes we did."

Cassie: "So you'd always find each other in the end?"

Reva: "Always."

Cassie: "Well I will have to remember that when I think of Tammy. Thank-you."

Reva: "Don't thank me, thank mama."

Josh: "Hey, let's drink a toast to Sarah, how would that be? To Sarah."

Cassie: "To Sarah."

Josh: "Cheers."

Reva: "You know I really wish you could have met her Cassie. She never made any mistakes. I mean she made one, one really big mistake in her life and she had to give up something that meant a whole lot to her."

Cassie: "I hope Tammy doesn't blame me for some of the mistakes I've made in my life. You know, she's having to live with strangers, and play with other children's toys."

Reva: "She knows you love her, she does."

Josh: "Yeah, kids know stuff like that, in their hearts they know."

Cassie: "I hope so. She's the only family I've got."

Reva: "What are we, chopped liver? We may not be real family, but we're extended family. And if you need us, we're here. "

Cassie: "Well, you know, after I get Tammy back I'm probably going to leave town."

Reva: "Well that is the silliest statement I have ever heard."

Josh: "Don't try to run her life. I gotta go, I gotta pick up our daughter. I'll be back in a bit."

Reva: "Go, go, go. I've got something private I want to talk to Cassie about anyway. I think it would be best if I let you know how I felt right up front so that you wouldn't feel the need to be secretive."

Cassie: "Reva, you know, I'm sorry. I just don't feel like my life's an open book right now."

Reva: "Let me finish. I still get the feeling that you're holding something back."

Cassie: "Look....I don't tell a lot of people things, and I've always been a loner, I don't have many friends. Never have."

Reva: "It's more then that. Don't deny it because I know it, I just do. I felt like I knew you right from the very beginning from the first time I met you and I cannot tell you how happy I was when I realized you weren't the spy here at Lewis Oil, I practically jumped out of my high heels I was so happy."

Cassie: "I think you just like to root for the underdog."

Reva: "Maybe. Or maybe it's because you just remind me so much of myself. I remember what I was like when I first landed here in Springfield. I wasn't exactly nice, I did some things I wasn't proud of, but I meant well, you know...." (Josh and Marah come in)

Marah: "Mama!"

Reva: "Sweetie pie, hi, you're back. How was school?"

Marah: "Great."

Josh: "You better watch out, your daughter here is gunning for a pair of inline skates."

Reva: "Oh she is?"

Marah: "Please, all the kids at school have them."

Reva: "Oh all the kids?"

Marah: "And I'll wear my helmet and kneepads and everything, please!"

Reva: "Okay, you can have your skates, right after you finish your science project and not a day before."

Marah: "Daddy..."

Reva: "No daddy, no daddy, daddy, daddy. You've got him wrapped right around your little finger, I swear."

Josh: "(to Marah) Listen, why don't I order you up a big, fat, gooey banana split?"

Reva: "Joshua!"

Josh: "And one for you too, okay?"

Reva: "Oh, thanks, it's okay."

Cassie: "I'm missing so much. Tammy's life, just everyday things. I got to get her back, I've just got to get her back."

Reva: "You will Cassie because you're a fighter."

Cassie: "Yeah, but I do all the wrong things for the right reasons."

Reva: "What was that for?"

Cassie: "Because you have faith in me. And don't ever forget it."

Reva: "Champagne really got to you, didn't it?" (Josh kisses her)

Josh: "You get to me. Listening to Cassie, it just made me realize, with all the problems she's going through, it made me realize how lucky we are."

Reva: "We've waited a long time to be together."

Josh: "You know what, I don't wanna wait anymore. We have a wedding to plan. I love you Reva Shayne, and after this convention is over we're going to tell the world."

Reva: "Okay." (They kiss again)
