Josh: "You've gotta stop running away from me, Reva." Reva: "Then leave me alone." Josh: "I can't do that." Reva: "You promised me you would." Josh: "I lied." Reva: "Don't be flip with me Bud. Not when it comes to this." Josh: "Well why don't we talk about this then. Why don't you tell me exactly what this is because I'm not sure what it is." Reva: "I already told you. It's over, Joshua. Just go home to Annie. Go back to life you would have had if I had never came back to Springfield." Josh: "You know I can't do that." Reva: "You have to...." Josh: "I love you. I always have and I always will." Reva: "You've gotta stop." Josh: "You know you keep saying that...come on Reva why don't you just tell me what's going on because I'm not buying what you're selling. I know you love me every bit as much as I love you..." Reva: "Yeah, well that's just that Lewis arrogance talking..." Josh: "No, no, no...now don't do that, okay? Don't try to push my buttons because it's not gonna work. I'm not gonna wrap myself around a telephone pole this time, any more than I'm gonna give up you to be with Annie and the baby. You can say whatever you want, I'm not gonna stop loving you. You can walk out of my life, but it's not gonna make me stay with Annie. My heart, my happiness, my future is the same as my past...it's you. It always has been and always will be." [Josh kisses Reva] Reva: "That wasn't fair." Josh: "Are you gonna tell me that you didn't want to do that as much as I did? Can you tell me why anything is more important that you and me right here and right now?" Reva: "Please just leave me alone." Josh: "You want me to leave you alone, I can do that. Okay? In fact, I'll tell you what I'll make you a deal. I'll stay away when you can tell me why you never wanna feel me this close to you again. Okay? I'll stay away when you can tell me why you never wanna feel my lips on your mouth again. Or why you never want me to kiss away your tears again. Or why you never wanna hear me say "I love you" again. I'll stay away when you convince me that there's no reason to keep coming back but I gotta tell you something...I don't think you're that good of a liar." Reva: "Go home, Joshua. Annie needs you." Josh: "Sending me home to my wife doesn't answer my questions. So I'll just keep coming back until you do. Okay?" [Josh kisses her again] |
