Sonia Satra originated the role of Lucy Cooper on Guiding Light in 1993 and played the role until 1997. Satra is an avid bicyclist and mountain climber. Her father was born in Austra and is an economics professor. Her mother is from Norway and is a history professor. Her mother speaks five languages. Satra spent much of her childhood traveling abroad. Satra had a role in the television movie Bonanza: The Next Generation. She appeared in the films Brand New Life and Sam and Ed. Lucy Cooper was her first daytime role. Born on December 17, 1971 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, Satra recently had a role on One Life to Live where she portrayed Nurse Barbara Graham. She is divorced and dated Monti Sharp (ex-David, GL, ex-Lew, ATWT) in the past. They remain friends.
