Betty Rea was the casting director for Guiding Light from 1970 to 1996. She simultaneously cast for As The World Turns from 1979 to 1983. From 1996 to 1998 she was a casting consultant for Proctor & Gamble Productions (the company that produces Guiding Light, As The World Turns, and Another World).
