Victoria Gabriella Platt took over the role of Vicky Brandon (now known as Vicky Spaulding) on October 15, 1998. Platt's previous television credits include playing Corinne on All My Children in 1996. Platt has appeared onstage in Ain't Misbehavin' and was seen in the HBO movie Winchell as Josephine Baker. When she was 18 she made her Broadway debut starring opposite Gregory Hines and Ben Vereen in the Broadway run of Jelly's Last Jam. In Europe, she appeared in Hair. She's also appeared in off-Broadway productions of Happy Birthday, Wanda June and Betsy Brown. Victoria is the sixth of nine children. Victoria's parents are Paul and Victoria Platt. Paul was a schoolteacher and principal. He died in 1995. Victoria's mother was once a singer. Born and raised in Queens, NY on November 21, Victoria is in her mid 20s. Victoria dropped out of Hunter College (in New York) to concentrate on her career. She is an accomplished vocalist. Fun Facts: Victoria has appeared on Guiding Light twice before. She left a baby on Chelsea Reardon's doorstep and was a member of Lucy Cooper's HIV support group. Appeared in commercials for Pringles and McDonald's. Victoria dates an actor/writer named Kevin, who lives on the west coast.
