Dennis Parlato

Dennis Parlato played the role of Roger Thorpe on Guiding Light from April 1997 to March 1998.

Dennis was born in California on March 30. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University in Los Angeles. He worked as an English instructor for three years and then decided to pursue a dance career. He performed with the Oakland Metropolitan Ballet and then decided to pursue acting at age 30.

Dennis appeared in Broadway productions of Chess, A Chorus Line, and She Loves Me. He has done off-Broadway roles in productions of King John, The Lark, Elizabeth and Essex, The Knife, and Moby Dick. He's also appeared in theater productions of Becket, Traveler in the Dark, Private Lives, Equus, Otherwise Engaged, I Ought to Be in Pictures, As You Like It, Educating Rita, and Cyrano de Bergerac.

He's performed in the film productions of Dream Team, Somewhere Tonight, Dillinger's Dead, and Johnny Suede. On television he's been seen in roles on Kate and Allie, All My Children, One Life to Live, Loving, and Beverly Hills, 90210.
