I met Greg Marxx (ex- Tom Hughes) at Erehwon (health food store) in LA about 1990. I told him that Oakdale wasn't the same without him. He was very gracious and thanked me. I also met Jennifer Ashe (ex- Meg Snyder) in LA sometime in 1993. My wife and I were looking at an apartment and she came home from the grocery store to the apartment next door. I said "Jennifer Ashe!" and she looked at me quite surprised, trying to figure out who I was. When I told her Oakdale wasn't the same without her, she laughed and thanked me, and we chatted about the neighborhood and stuff. We did not end up taking that apartment, but it would have been neat to have her as a neighbor. |
