Pinter has toured extensively with the Army Special Services in Europe as well as in national tours in such roles as Sonya in They're Playing Our Song, Amy in Where's Charley?, Claudine in Can Can, Sophie in The Star-Spangled Banner Girl and Corie in Barefoot in the Park. Having worked professionally since the age of nine -- in commercials, print ads, theater and the Gus Giordano Dance Company -- Pinter began to focus on acting while attending Catholic University of America, where she majored in Theater. Colleen's husband, actor Mark Pinter, whom she met when they were both on ATWT, is currently in the cast of the daytime drama Another World. They are the parents of a blended family of six -- four girls and two boys -- and live in Connecticut. Colleen and Mark married on August 9, 1987. Mark's children from his first marriage are his daughters, Siri and Hannah, and his son, Dylan. Dylan and Hannah are twins. Colleen has a daughter, Kelsey, from her first marriage. Together they have a son, Morgan, and daughter, Georgia. Mark and Colleen have devoted much of their time to the national chapters of Easter Seals, the March of Dimes, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They have also volunteered their time and talents for the Bread and Roses, and AIDS hospice/facility in Connecticut. For these charities and other causes, the Pinters have produced and/or starred in productions of Love Letters throughout the country. Pinter's hobbies are evident in her home surroundings; they include interior design, 18th and 19th century antiques and gardening. She is also a skier and an eternal student of the game of golf. When not acting, Colleen sells real estate for Prudential in Connecticut.
