Martha Byrne was born Mary Martha Byrne on December 23, 1969 in Ridgewood, NJ. She joined the cast of As The World Turns in the role of Lily Walsh in 1985.
Martha's film credits inclue The Marksmen, The Beniker Gang, Anna to the Infinite Power, Mergers & Acquisitions, and The Eyes of the Amaryllis. Some of her television appearances include In The Heat of the Night, Pink Lightning, Drop-Out Father, Parker Lewis Can't Lose, Murder She Wrote, Silk Stalkings, and The Young Riders.
An accomplished singer, Martha has released two albums. She is married to Michael McMahon and lives in New York. Michael and Martha were married in November 1994. Martha and her husband have one son, Michael Terrence McMahon, who was born on May 29, 1998.
